actually that is not such a bad scotty rip. he is pretty positive on the truck overall esp the V8, and he notes that problem is easily worked around by driving in sport or econo mode. good luck finding a V8 tho, haha. i tried. look up his analysis of the 4 cyl direct inject w/ ecoboost in the explorer. now that one, he rips on. he smiles when he rips, but he rips nonetheless. we need guys like scotty at ford like a court jester to tell the king the real story. him and the monro teardown guy. that would be a great tag team. those guys are worth their weight in gold. i doubt if some of our execs have any actual experience with the parts of a vehicle, or basic physics / engineering knowledge in some cases.
