It's been several weeks and I'm still angry about the whole thing. I was a great employee. I always gave 110% and I was always willing to work late or work over the weekend. I was repaid by being tossed out without a second thought. How do you get over something like that?

Remember, loyalty means nothing to a corporation. Do your 40 hours and the rest of the work is management's responsibility.
As you can tell they can walk you out without notice. No need to even give a 2 week notice anymore. It works both ways.
Bummer
Having gone through it, all I can say is living well is the best revenge, i.e., get a better job and you will win. Hang in there. :)
I've been working in corporate America for a long time and this is a common problem among workers. You are not alone. Happened to me too and a lot of my coworkers. Just give yourself a good kick and move on.
