Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Many do not stay here for more than a month now

New colleague, left after two months. Another new colleague, left after less than a month. I'm happy for them, but it's frustrating how much UP doesn't care. What's next? Employees who won't show up for work on the second day? This greedy company urgently needs more competent management.

But I was told we’re the best, so how could people be leaving? Maybe they don’t realize that we’re the best and we need to advertise that more to attract more talent.

Yeah and until the senior management/executives wake up and actually realize that, then it's never going to change. I've already said this before as well. Get all the managers out there on the ground to see who can actually do the job. If they can't do the job better or at all, then they have no business being the manager of it.
