What do people think about the fate of engineering and related shared services in the UK? There's been a lot of talk about offshoring US based enginners, but UK can't be as cheap as India, Greece or China and surely must be under consideration for a few cuts.

If you look at the Tibco employment board, none of theIr openings — in any technical category — are outside of India or Eastern Europe. I would expect that to also be the future of Citrix.
Re needing engineers: Someone's gotta fix the massive amount of bugs...
UK engineers are relatively cheap compared to US.
Let me ask you something: if the focus is going to be on revenue renewals, and not product development, then why do they need engineers?
