Carbon Black and Velo “BDRs” are technically SDRs at VMware and not affected
This is true, all the AMER BDRs (contractors) will be phased out starting in Q4. AMER and EMEA Tanzu BDRs will move into SDR roles. EMEA and AMER BDR agencies will be terminated starting in Q4. APJ BDRs will largely remain the same. We all should help the folks displaced
It isn't mass amounts of people posting on social media. It is account development reps (similar to sdrs, but they work with account managers). If you don't work in this sector, you probably aren't connected with the prior leader who posted, and the group of reps who have open to work banners on. Not everyone broadcasts to the world that they just lost their job. No need to get hostile here.
