Pay grades

Hi everyone. I’m trying to figure out for operations what you would expect for pay as an 18. Or the pay jump that would come from going 17 to 18. I’ve heard so many different things but was hoping someone could give a more solid answer. Thank you!!!

For the person who asked I’m a 17 and make $49,800. The pay ranges so much. I have a coworker who got a $10K raise when she went from 17 to 18. I’ve seen others get like 3 grand. It really feels like it’s up to how much leadership likes you

As an internal, any increases over 10% get all kinds of scrutiny, regardless of how many job grades you jump. I used to work in HR and am very familiar. Do yourself 2 favors and in this order:

  1. Get out of Ops.
  2. Leave RJ

They used to post the salary ranges on RJnet but now it's a big secret so they can justify big salary discrepancies amongst a group of people who do the same exact jobs.

I make 50k (or maybe 51k - I forget exactly) as an 18. What do you make as a 17? I wish I knew more about this as well.
