Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Looks like the start up of Aviall changes

Now that we have a new quality manager here. Will things return to the normal?

Maybe the new manager can stop some of the special folks from going to the (non allowed) smoking area every 45 minutes

If you are in the market for 1,000 drums of stale turbine oil that no one ever ordered Aviall is your place !

oh good lord ! Aviall is like the Special Olympics for aerospace business. Jerry's kids could do a better job running a business than this place. There are people there that couldn't tell a 747 from a bag of mulch.

Why would Aviall in Dallas want to return to "normal". "Normal" at this dump is late shipments, unhappy customers, no inventory, bad planning, not paying vendors, credit holds, incompetently managed warehouses, lazy and unmotivated employees that come in late and leaving early, clueless managers etc etc Aviall is a perfect fit for Boeing.

Normal meaning the greed and corruption that needlessly cost so many lives? I would think yes given that scrutiny of Boeing by Congress, FAA and NTSB is decreasing.

Normal meaning competent engineering and manufacturing resulting in innovative, quality and safe products? I would think no, as this took decades of dedicated hard work and long accumulation of experience and knowledge that has been intentionally and systematically destroyed since the mid 90s in favor of personal wealth for the Boeing nepotism family of managers and executives.
