Did anyone get on the call yesterday about the buyouts and hear that if they don't get enough people to take the buyout, there will be layoffs?

That's the way it's been for the last 15 years. It's the 5 year purge. If you are over 40 and don't have a comfy senior mgmt job (or are family), you are on the block.
