Boeing is most definitely bringing best and brightest to the tanker team, anyone feel the same?

Best and brightest? Where?
The b&b experienced people are either retired, pushed to retire, quitted, or laid off as we cost too much, ever since they counting beans after the last successful program in 1995 with the orig 777
B&B has tons of options to work somewhere else. I retired and got out of this mess years ago

Boeing‘s been trying to get their older employees to take a voluntary layoff and basically replacing them with new college hired who don’t have the experience to be productive. Company is in bad shape and losing 2000 engineers in Russia that they had been growing for almost a decade to replace all their older workers was a big mistake.

They sent a crew of new hires out to do rework on tankers and labeled them under the “SST” umbrella. It’s pathetic.

Boeing and "Best and Brightest" are mutually exclusive

All I know is no one working here seems to know even basic stuff about airplanes much less tankers. And the suits seem to know even less and just toss out management jargon that isn't remotely helpful. Got an interview with another company next week and hope I can get out of here soon.
