It looks like they have no intention of retaining anyone, regardless of how talented and capable the employee is. Of course, maybe everything got out of control and they don't even have the possibility to retain anyone anymore?

I totally disagree with the Anenen statement as I knew him for decades. He truly cared about ADP/CDK but his hands were tied by hedge fund people.
The organization lost all control during the spinoff from ADP. Annen kept steering the ship without really caring where things went, and ignored the fact that the company lacked a single organizational goal or roadmap aside from generating revenue. Divisions were heavily siloed and had practically zero communication with each other. Having two more failed CEOs (yes, "BK" is a failed CEO) attempt to "fix" the company have done nothing to improve it. Honestly, CDK should have been split up and sold the moment the breakaway from ADP happened.
