Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Incompetence everywhere

The probability that a person who has no talent for a particular job will get the position here is huge. I have been working here for a long time and I think that mediocrity has never been a bigger problem than it is today. Do you also wonder how a person whose position exceeds her/his competencies somehow manages to get the work done?

Some organizations suffer as a result of the "Peter Principle," but we struggle due to what I call the "Weiner(less) Principle," which was basically implemented around 3 years ago when political correctness resulted in the mass promotion of too many unqualified women into managerial roles.

Let's turn this ship around and return to "Best Player Plays" and get rid of the Weiner(less) Principle!
