There were salary tables updated earlier this year or last year. Anyone who is getting promoted IS NOT getting the salary table, but much much less. You're better off applying elsewhere or applying to a position a level higher directly. Just a head up.

I had a manager at Boeing tell me once that it was better not to apply for a higher level as I would be more likely to get laid off whenever another cut was initiated which is often. That’s the mindset of management at Boeing. They want people in their 40s who are at level two or level three.
