How in the world somebody with no engineering background or any sort of technical background was promoted to GM in the North Sea? How does that even make sense…

Maybe put there just to eventually sell? or she will get burnt like those couple of female leaders that they moved up to quickly to then get rid of them quietly.
It’s about putting in a position someone’s “person” either a crony, or someone benign they control. That’s more important than qualifications or ability.
At some stage you have to wonder if it's incompetent leadership or just intentional.

Haha look at Texas and the Eagle Ford, or the little sh-t show they do have and look at that manager from OK. Same sh-t different pile. One day they will sell or get bought out and it will a blessing for most and a bad day for the worthless.
