Without a doubt, Tibco was the absolute worst place I worked. Imagine a CTO telling the entire company on a call that they need to basically shut up and ask fewer questions? From top to bottom, it's rotten. Innovation is strangled at every point, shut up and tow the line. HR are also the most combative and ignorant I have ever experienced. I hope to never work in a place as bad as this ever again.

TIBCO has always been a gross place. I ran the EBC and was exposed to the terrible behavior by executives. Completely predatory! The founder/CEO hiring beautiful, very young, women who left suddenly and were never heard from again. I imagine it was better under Dan but a rotten apple can't truly be fixed.
Given that not many people are actually interested in this topic, the up/down votes are just one person voting over and over. Trust me, the people at TIBCO are generally happy, and the company is doing VERY well. We don't need the losers who got fired, that's for sure.
This page is filled with fake BS and losers.
That incident absolutely happened. People were asking too many questions according to the CTO and he said people should stop and just do their job. It was a company wide call. You not being on the call does not mean it didn't happen. Myself and my coworkers we're absolutely astounded when we heard it. It was a real "Did he really say that??" moment. A whole bunch of people quit within weeks of that.
Yes really. Go to Glassdoor and ignore the compelled reviews. They're easy to spot, they're two or three words long. Look for the negative ones to see the real story.
This complaint is complete BS. This loser was probably fired for being incompetent. The people working at TIBCO are pretty happy.
I don't know what world you live in or what call you were on but I have never sat on a company wide call where the CTO was telling everyone to "basically shut up and ask fewer questions". Every single company on the planet has their issues, TIBCO is no different, but it does have some of the most passionate people on the planet and I will always value the relationships that I have built here. Sorry that your career here was so terrible.
Really?
