Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

UP employees leaving/quitting at an alarming rate

How is UP going to run without the adequate manpower? Excessive overtime, forced overtime.. cutting corners. Hire convicts + bonus. That will work!

Can’t wait to have a Ted Bundy-like in the middle of nowhere for 12 hrs… so excited to have bigger scumbags around me. Hey maybe I’ll be put out of my misery! Win win

The years I've worked at Up I've never seen so many employees leave voluntary. Maybe they think they will be layed off soon. Seem the normal anymore. It's use to be when you retiring now it's when are we getting layed off. So many scare tactics and to be honest nobody really cares.

@ubc+1i7oRRPr Here's an idea for you. You can try opening your eyes. You could also try reading the news. He-l, you could even watch the stupid townhall videos and watch Fritz describe the hiring issues the UP is facing. There's quite a few ways to prove it. In other words, pull your head out of your a-s.

Well at least these employees are leaving voluntarily. Better than being fired or laid off.

Here is some “real” data. (not in te&y)
I worked with a guy for 17yrs, he quit and became a realtor. I worked w/ another guy for 8yrs, he quit and went to work for the G&W RR, he makes a few bucks less an hour but is much happier. Both of these 2 guys quit bcuz they could no longer tolerate our manager. If either of these guys had been asked 5yrs ago if they planned on ever quitting UP they wouldve said no. Before PSR both of these guys planned on retiring from UP.

What’s your data on employees leaving? Where did you get your information from? Are you just guessing? Without proof your post isn’t very good.
