I’ve been a supervisor the last four years. I just got eliminated yesterday, my gm decided to choose me. Want infuriated me is that I got absolutely no warning at all. I’ve been on leave of absence since July 7th recovering from a surgery I was approved to get done. My leave was supposed to end on 8/18 and now that is tossed out the window too that my job was eliminated. I believe this is going to be a blessing in disguise because I have not been happy with where the company has been going… I’m just amazed no one gave me a warning and they do it in the middle of my leave of absence. It’s disgusting. They made me jobless while I’m recovering from a surgery. Fu-k you Best Buy 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

If you were still under FMLA protection you have a case.
No they can't. When you sign on you agree to "work at will", Best Buy can terminate you for any reason.
I’m pretty sure you can sue them dude. Talk to some lawyers and look into it. God bless 🙏🏻
