All this poster is trying to do is separate fact from fiction give the high rate of friggin id--tic hoax postings on this forum.

To be clear in my post below I was referring to Full line stores that there haven’t been any closings, since April. I’m well aware of several hometown Stores closing, since then but they are not the focus of this list above.

What exactly was the point of this list? These lists are usually posted when the count changes. There has not been a closing since Avenel ended in April. Since the information is the same there’s no need to post a list until it changes.

9 Kmarts -- 3 in US states, 6 on offshore islands

16 full-line Sears stores -- 15 in US states, one in Puerto Rico

7 company-owned Sears "Home & Life" and "Appliance & Mattress" small-format stores

170 or fewer Sears Hometown franchise stores

9 Kmarts are left. PR, Guam, NY, and Miami. 23 Sears stores left

The Hato Rey, Puerto Rico Kmart is listed, but unfortunately there is a formatting error -- a missing line-break after the Guam listing.

So accurate that it doesn’t include the Puerto Rico Kmart? What a tool.

This is an accurate list of full-line Sears stores and Kmart stores.

It does not include Sears Home & Life (3), Appliance & Mattress (4), or Hometown (about 170).

There are a lot of Sears stores missing from this list. I would not trust the list with a ten foot pole.
