We heard rumors for years when a merger wasn’t really likely due to the company’s debt and long term obligations. no such hurdles now though and we have a private equity type board. Totally different. You can doubt all you want but don’t act surprised when it happens
That’s a silly comment on Grant. He was at the company before his father in law and his job never changed when he was on the board (which he hasn’t been for over a year).

Common. Everyone seen this. First off who would ever come and be CEO of this company with the history they have had. Second that person is the same person that has cooked the books for the last 20+ years. They would put him in charge and let him run it through the merger and then float away in his golden parachute. Chesapeake has less than 12 months before it is dissolved and employees will lose their jobs. Severances will be decided by whoever buys them so all your big severances will no longer be around. FYI. There is a sale on lube at Jiffy’s off Broadway.
