Enhanced Part time is the end of full time and Benefits.
amazon just laid off 100k people. hyperinflation coming faster than you think. old full timer will be laid off or canned by the magic of macys ! they will be out chasing rainbows when asked "what happened to such and such?" within 6 months.. layoffs coming to manager esp the ones being here for 30 years ! ..

Enhanced part time what a joke. Blatant attempt to have less full timers and save money on PTO time and other benefits. Going down slowly but surely
This company is always full of surprises.
This is another avenue that Macy's came up with to save money at all costs by eliminating some stores, full time employees with benefits and vacation time that cost the company money and replacing it with the enhanced part time. Macy's has become a sinking ship and it's only going to get worse.
They are cutting hours . Just because no one has been let go yet doesn't mean they aren't planning layoffs. Stock levels are really low except in Backstage so who knows.
They hiring too many people in my store so I dunno what lay offs you are talking about. They aren’t hiring them to replace us cuz we are union store. But I am sure the lay offs will prolly come after Xmas as usual.
