That's how you get rid of them. Promote them and set them up to fail. Cheaper than laying them off on the spot and then have a lawsuit claiming discrimination, harassment, stress, etc. on your hands that will last 2 years and potential attorney fees on top of that.
It’s never his fault but another head of strategy gone! That’s his third one!
