Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Accumulated stress contributes to many health problems

I worked at several retail companies before I got a job here, but I've definitely experienced the most stress here. I am trying to find another solution as soon as possible, because I notice that all this is starting to affect my health. I think that only the lucky few and those who left quickly did not start having health problem here?

I left for a better job with a lot less stress. I work M-F, have weekends and holidays off, and I make $4.55 more per hour. The benefits are better too.

Pounding that concrete floor for 9 years is what got me. Back, knee and foot pain.
Gotta love that customer concentric scheduling, don't give me 2 days off in a row and 1 weekend every 2 months if you are lucky. Left May 2021 and I feel alot better and enjoying life.

Truth, my new company is 9-5 M-F all weekends and most holidays off and I can make commission. I have a big screen TV, my own desk a fan and can watch videos or listen to music in between customers. Zero freight, a flexible schedule. FREEDOM!

You don’t realize how bad you feel from the stress until you get out.
