Word is getting around in upper management that there will be mass layoffs of 10% to 20% of the overall workforce. Find a new gig while you can :(

Long time IGT employee here (10+ years total combined) and the company does layoffs pretty frequently. I have personally been laid off and worked for a competitor then I re-joined IGT after a couple years to work with someone who was a great manager unfortunately they left the company last year for a competitor.
The company is in really bad shape right now. There has been an exodus of good talent over the last few years and most of the execs remaining are really clueless. They are pushing for sales but don’t even have the parts to sell close the forecasted sales targets. The premium business has been a joke for a while now and the core business is facing fierce competition. Mass layoffs are coming and consider yourself lucky if you are laid off and not terminated to get benefits.
Apparently not. I feel the original poster was probably just speculating as it's been nearly 2 weeks and no one else has posted additional info.
Does anyone have more informations on the layoffs comming in IGT?
Any ideas on when and where?
This wouldn't surprise me. It's the annual IGT layoff. After round 1 of layoffs, IGT will tell the current employees that they are safe. However, 3 months later, they will also get cut.
