Aldi Foods is beginning a world wide, rolling layoff for all Divisions. The layoffs will affect Inventory Accounting, Bookkeeping, AP Merchandise and Non Merchandise, and Purchasing. All of these positions will be eliminated beginning 2023 however, some AP Non Merchandise positions have already been eliminated. Call Batavia, IL and ask for yourself....you'll see. I have been told it’s still the same time line of 2023-2025 and everyone is acting like nothing is happening. So frustrating.
My friend works in the Dwight, IL division and their Purchasing Dept is now gone. Corp has begun managing those tasks. So sad...people being laid off with the economy the way it is. Hoping they all find good jobs soon.
