Working for SEARS leaders (isn't one ruined company enough, why make them in charge)
Scheduling issues that are schizophrenic at best
Good ole boy club that is alive and well in the Midwest and have had everything covered up by HR

The millennials trying to dump their job responsibilities on me. They actually talk to me like it’s my job.

Melvin Ellison, Small hands Macfarland, Barney Rubble Boltz for starters. Two bogus emails in one year about bonuses we won't get. The pitch to get 100% participation on BEST surveys. Cr---y scheduling. Terrible, lazy, power hungry ASM's. Head Cashiers that think they run the store. Freight piling up because we can't keep associates or managers on the night crew. Absolute toxic work environment.

Let me count the ways—

Hostile work atmosphere, permeated with a ‘manage through fear/intimidation’ mindset
Hot, sweaty, tired, unhappy-looking employees—that is, when you can find one
Managers that are completely disengaged and no presence on the floor
A corporate office that is full of people that have never worked in a retail store or even touched a cash register and is full of nepotism
Dirty, disgusting bathrooms—and break rooms
Inconsistently enforced refund/return policies
A delivery program that is completely broken
An Installed Sales program that I wouldn’t trust to install a cabinet knob much less any thing else

Poor staffing;
Inconsistency - every manager having their own agenda;
Irregular hours (or no hours);
General disorder (filth) of stores;
Inventory and Genesis inconsistencies;
Manage by fear mentality.

  7. The disgust of pulling into the parking lot and knowing your going to have a sh!tty day before it even begins just because it's blowes.

Dang that’s a loaded question.

MHRBP
Associate relations
Special order items
Sims
Budget for scheduled hours
Opening at 6am
No holidays off
Having to be sent home for budget cuts

So many more but that sums it up for now!
