Around 40 people will be laid off from Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. Outsourcing is to blame since the hospital is outsourcing revenue cycle functions and laying off all of the revenue cycle staff. It's heartbreaking to see hardworking people lose their livelihoods so the hospital could save a few bucks.
