I’m seeing a ton of “I’m leaving Staples” posts on LinkedIn recently. Anyone know what’s going on this time? Seems like mostly US SBA.

Same here! Was let go a few years ago and I quickly found a position at another company making 25% more. But the kicker was the bonus and stock options. My last years bonus and stock options that vested were greater than my best 5 years at Staples combined.
I was laid off a few years ago, thank God! I asked for it and was the best thing that could happen to me!!! I received 20% pay increase when I was offered my next job at a new company, and btw all remote! And I didn’t have to negotiate, pay was just right for me. I do have animosity toward Staples because my Management was terrible and very incompetent. Weak top to bottom. Yes everyone working there can certainly do better outside, I can almost guarantee you WILL get more pay and most likely you will be happier with the new start. I don’t kiss a-s, I respect my bosses but I will not kiss anyone’s a-s! That’s not me! Go ahead and fire me for not doing that. I rather that than be a kiss a-s!

That’s their problem. They force the good people to leave…..or they lay off the good people!
ROTFL … does Staples NEED “good people?”
It’s been a while since I worked there, but from what I remember their management was highly dysfunctional and they were far more interested in retaining people who were easily intimidated.
Speaking as a person who posted that I was leaving. I was tired of being abused and lack of support. I personally was tired of becoming a professional apologizer. It was getting too difficult to get anything fixed.
Employees are starting to figure out that Staples is cheap. Plenty of higher paying opportunities outside Staples
Recruiters are calling. Offering a low pay scale for the company they recruit for. This low pay scale is 20% better than staples top pay. The company can't afford to keep good people anymore.
The Great Resignation.
