What are your thoughts on 6% focal points when inflation is at 8% or higher for everything you are purchasing right now?

I remember the good ole days. Focal point was 4% and I got 12% with a few guys getting squat! No wonder everyone hates etechs!
Average was 6% but higher ups said do not give full amount.
The baseline for the focal was 6.3% and a budget based on headcount per department and it was at the managers discretion on how it was divided out to each employee. For example, employee X got higher than 6.3% so employee Y gets less than 6.3% to balance out the budget. I have seen some employees get 8-9% and saw some get 3-4% without an rhyme or reason.
I bring my own cheese when buying burgers. It’s cheaper that way. Oh, and I got 5%
I got a 7% raise, I will now be getting cheese on my burgers from now on :)
SBD gave 3%. Be happy you received 6%….
I know people that only got 3%. Was this common?
NOV only gave out 3%. So ridiculous. Expected to do more and more with less resources yet can’t even pay us a decent wage
I heard it’s 6.3% average
Was every one supposed to get 6% for performing well? I was told I did extremely well and got the higher end of what was possible, and I got 5.9%. Just wondering if management is doing the typical management bs.
Are you sure inflation is 8%?
Be grateful for what we are giving you!
It doesn't matter how hard you work. You will get the same focal point as the dead weights as long as you keep your mouth shut and don't rock the boat. Dead weight managers with higher pay get a higher weighted amount versus your pittance of your working pay.
There is never a business case for doing the right thing. Far to easy to hire someone to replace you when you wise up.
All my hard work at the sapranos Arbroath plant. I should be getting 20% coz I run the hone and the g-n drill.
