After being lied to (I remember K*t posting on slack not even 24hrs before announcement that it is just a rumour) I lost all motivation. Having been through several acquisitions including CA, I polished my resume the day of the announcement and signed a new contract already. This is my last week. I don’t need a 12-18 month anxiety phase wondering if I can afford my mortgage for 2023 or not. Fudge that.

Morale is low. I expect the deal to close by end of Jan of next year so people are getting ready to leave

Of course people are leaving, no one wants to stay. Our turnover at the company was high before the announcements. The only people that should stay are executives or long term people that can make some money with severance payments.
