Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Mentally Abusive

You work for years building teams, functioning on a high level, then, they term you, but tell you you have to stay for months, until your last day they gave you in order to get your severance, In the meantime, they give the teams you built to lower performing people, they disregard you, while you're still being forced to stay there, forcing you to do tasks, only to be questioned on every single thing you do, until the last day.

This feels like being held hostage by an abusive spouse who moved in his mistress who you are forced to cook and clean for, because you cannot afford to run. Knowing there's a day you will be free from the abuse. someone will eventually mentally break if they keep this up. No human should be treated like this. Avoid this company like the plague it is. Heartless abusive sc-m.

Coram is just vile. No one with any ethics or morals should work there. Worst company ever

This happened to someone else I know. They had been with the company basically half of their life with high performing teams and fantastic results.

Left a few months ago on my own terms after 20 years of proven results. Got a new DL during last year’s realignment and suddenly I was no longer an effective leader. Magic right? One of the best days of my life was the day I received my offer (out of retail) and the joy I had sitting on that info until I quit a month later with no notice. I wanted to tell the pr--k of a DL where to stick it, but I decided not to go to his level.

This may not feel like it now, but it is the best thing that has happened to you. I wish you Good luck and future happiness.
