Coworker quit job after 1 month at GA. This is a record for me although I have heard others quit after 3 weeks. Anyone see anyone quit sooner?

Not surprised given how sh-t the compensation is and how mentally draining the work is. I worked there for a little over 3 months, and quit without finding a new job, because I hated the lack of leadership and the amount of work required for my very junior role. It's like I was doing the work of two senior engineers with the pay of an intern. No training at all and when I ran into big challenging problems, there was no one there to help. Everyone on the team worked on different things and there was no technical lead or a wise manager to ask for help. When I got stuck, it was on me to figure out how to get unstuck, and had to do stupid fu----g status reports every single fu----g day!!! If you don't trust your employees with the work, then don't hire them. Asking for status reports every single day is de-grading. I'm an engineer and not a fu----g cow you can milk every day.
The grass is always greener on the other side. If you can, quit and join literally any other company. Even a startup will double/triple whatever pay you're getting right now.
Did they give any specific reason or incident for leaving so soon?
Wow.
No, but in their infinite wisdom the management team hired two interns AFTER our layoff last summer. They then laid one of those interns off this last round of cuts. Didn’t make it a year.
