Today is the last day of the fiscal year, and ADP usually does layoffs today. Has anyone heard if there were any ?

Years before I took the VERP, like around 2010, I took everything personal off my desk. Associates were looking over their shoulders even back that long ago. The managers lurked around the corners ready to pounce once you walked through the door. If and when my number would have been called to leave, I was not having someone else box up my personal belongings. I would have been able to walk out and not look back. A lot of my ex co-workers are doing great away from ADP. Never let them think you are beholden to the company. You have value and training other companies would like to have.
Do employees at other companies spend their careers looking over their shoulders like we do?
Generally, you would hear about them in May and early June, if they were going to happen before new fiscal. You are probably safe until Oct or Jan.
