Unrealistic deadlines lead to mistakes, frustrations, dissatisfaction and finally - leaving the company. I've been working at a very strenuous pace for a long time, but deadlines seem to be getting shorter and shorter? I sometimes wonder how a manager came to a conclusion that a project can be done in such an unrealistically short time frame.

At Dell the word Unrealistic doesn't exist.
Get to worker slackers
Most frontline managers at Dell are there thru "brown-nosing" or nepotism, they have no people management skills, no project management experience, yet you expect them to know what it takes to timeline a project? Good luck with that!
Bold of you to assume that any managers at Dell understand what it takes to accomplish any actual work
