So the news is that Woodbridge Center Macy's 3rd floor is being closed off to become a fulfillment center. The first 2 levels will still be open to customers for in store shopping. The backstage is now on the 1st floor.

Our store is also becoming a fulfillment hub. They’ve moved our Big Ticket onto main floor and squished mattresses anywhere they’ll fit.
Customer elevator is in the area they’d like to close off but not sure how they’ll swing it. The way our escalators go out we need that elevator
The sad thing is that Backstage is on the first floor. Really Macy’s? Leading with that discount cr-p? The buyers are spending money on the same stuff that they sell at Ross. They might as well close the full line stores and make everything a Backstage.
This is happening. The 3rd floor is going to be a huge fulfillment center. Steve Draper is all over this project. So it will be awesome..
Certain locations are doing this or a variation of it without closing the entire floor. Yes I did hear this I should be visiting this site soon and will check it out. Facilites Call Center is in Store 9 also.
