Don't wait. If 1 year is an issue then you have already made up your mind. Get a head start at your new company and then bring over people that you want to work with
I hear your point. I want closure. I don’t want to work there but also don’t want to walk away from my severance. I also don’t want to be greedy so really don’t know what I want. Hoping it closes quickly so I can move forward but can’t have my cake and eat it too I guess.
These meetings are such a waste of time. They say a lot of nothing but make it sound important. 😂
Why is that bad? He-l- Hopefully it'll take 2 years. The longer the better. But what does it matter anyway? As others have said, 70% of us will be axed anyway so might as well use that time period to find another job.
