What with the rumors of Mays Landing aka Hamilton, NJ Macy's getting the ax? Are they true? Is it the lease agreement expiring?

It’s a shame as this store and mall were busy years ago. Has to do with the tourism in the Atlantic City area dropping off. It’s a shell of its former self but with Macys being the only anchor left they need to think about whether closing the store is necessary or if they can hold out. I would hate to see any stores close in NJ but it’s upper management decision.
The building looks nice from the outside, but it really ran down on the inside. In addition, that mall has a dozen store fronts closed and out of business. The writing is probably on the wall for that store.
