The End is Near

They have exhausted their efforts, the leadership has no grasp on what the company needs to be, or how to get to a recovery position. The field offices are filled with the trash they left when they purged those who wouldn`t drink the koolaid. They only promote those who follow blindly and give the affirmation of how great leadership is. The circus in Weatherford is prime example of what mismanagement does for a area. What was a great company has been reduced to a jester juggling the pieces trying not to come apart.

I agree. Was Devon ever great? Or was it just an epeen show vs Chesapeake? As it stands right now, the company has people making decisions based on their personal empires and not on what’s good for the company. And it appears the board has sent the edict down to demote all wpx folks so they know their place as second class citizens. If I was applying I would steer clear of devon. Toxic af

Isn’t that the Devon way? Absorb other companies just to stay afloat? You would think with new leadership things would have changed, but what you allow is what will continue.
