Good loyal pleb. 👍
Now back to work.
@ 8cia+1hgSK4NK, That 2% doesn't even hurt me to where it'll make a difference. I'm not scraping the barrel to go and buy gas for my truck or go and buy steaks to put on the grill. I've lived through worse and seen worse. And you are completely right buddy, my loyalty here has paid off, in more ways than one!
6% you say?
Good to hear @7hqa+1hgSK4NK that you can now afford only 2% less than you could last year. Your loyalty to Tubo has only cost you and your family's budget to shrink a little this year compared to others. But we gotta keep that payroll down for management and investors who tOoK tHe RiSk iNvEsTiNg CaPiTaL to not miss out. You're doing your part!
What a "raise"!
Not sure what the OP is talking about. Many of us in the shop have gotten a raise, 6%, better than nothing, but those that did not are the ones not doing the assigned work or dragging their feet when doing the job and taking many more hours than allotted for. There are several in the electric lab, a couple in the weld shop and at least one in mechanical that are constantly dragging their feet when it's come to work.
This company doesn't believe in raises. But they'll gladly hire on several new roles and tell you there's no money left to hand out after paying the new goons top notch pay and benefits above yours.
4% - What a joke..... Can't even buy a big mac with this 4% so called raise.
Nationals business modal: no raise , rehire jr's after the mid experience and aged quit. Keeps the wage low. 4 percents increase after 5 years.
Pay increases are less than 1 percent each year....if luck.
Saw the headline 'raises at Tubo' and just immediately started laughing.
You mean -4%.
When cost of living goes up 8 and you stay with your same job, you are working for less than when you were hired.
Leave. Everywhere is still hiring like crazy. Unless you think you deserve 8% less of a house, less food, less for your kids because of your loyalty to Tubo.
If they can't even keep up with cost of living/inflation then you are willingly staying and being paid less so they can keep their margins and bonuses.
Right…we got more work then ever. Still can’t get a raise. When things slow down, they’re cutting people ASAP to save money. When things pick up, they’re slow to reward any of their employees for their hard work.
July. Expect ~4%.
