Actually a GenX. I think the younger staff are more tech savvy and would not have made the mistake. Good Luck!
What generation does the person belong to? Guessing they were from millennial or younger.
It was less about the content and more about how much time was spent on it "on company time."
That said, the content was juvenile and not something to broadcast across the corporation.

Had a smart a-s at LAPC send a crass email to what he thought was his friends... Was sent thru the entire company. Careers were affected... Good luck!
The more successful people do not put anything in an email or text that would look bad. That is what phones and in person meetings without witnesses are for.
