There are many complaints that Citrix has no vision and that this is one of the main reasons why so many are leaving. I agree, I’m also here just because of pay and I’m leaving as soon as I get a better offer, but I’m curious about what is your vision for Citrix?

Rear view mirror look- spot on. There is no one in the product/ sales/ marketing side of the ELT who has been a product or service leader bringing new product or customer value. They are all operational milkers, minor incrementalists who think the customer is just listening to them. So wrong! Anything new they just don't understand.
The only meaningful vision left for the Citrix ELT is their view from a rearview mirror -- meaning, the legacy of the company's prior success in the virtual desktop space will be used to harvest the installed base revenue stream, by continuously raising prices.
Beyond that retrospective, there is no apparent forward-looking vision.
Citrix hit the iceberg and will sinck fast. The left overs will be a Wikipedia page and a niche usecase for hdx protocol.
