For the rank-and-file, this message is for you: All of you are hard working, dedicated souls (a few lazy apples exempted of course) who have spent years putting an honest day's of work for a good paycheck. Yet, you are always the ones that get whacked and face the turbulence that the VPs and ELT create because they don't know how to navigate a changing tech environment.
So whether you stay or go, please make your next bet on people who have really grown businesses, navigated market changes and that you can genuinely trust in life. If your manager or their manager is not such a leader, seek some place and person who will be that. Life is too short to deal with bad management.
