After acquisition is complete, there will be no more than 20k VMW employees left.
Out of those 20k, another 8k will be gone by 1 year after acquisition.

for sure..why is Bcom buying. Do they want to take all the 37k people and grow business & pay a lot to all employees ?

I agree. Too much comparison to the symatec/ca. acquisitions. Completely different companies/situations. Do you really think they will lay off 70% of a company with 40k employees that is completely opposite of the current Broadcom business model?

Good for those. They will get Good Salary, Good stock, Good bonus and bump in share price due to Bcom acquisition and then Good Bcom stock and all these will go 5X in 1 year.. Probably become multi-millionaires.
