Shell was in Guyana for years. After a string of failed exploration wells, Shell decided to pull the plug. Then XOM made one discovery after another. Sad!
Drill more oil, need more DEI to balance the scales and need more over the top virtue signaling to create a smoke screen. Which will destroy the company faster, lower profits in the long run by missing out on a discovery or putting these horrible fu----g d-mbasses in charge?
Shell was 50% interest owner in the Stabroek block prior to the drilling of the Liza discovery. This is the same block that Exxon and its partners have made billion barrel discoveries in.

I heard we used to have a position there but didn't think it would ever work .... or maybe that was french guyana I don't know ....
