Under Dell VMware still ran as its own company. I don’t see that happening with Broadcom.

Do a comparison... brcm will be an axe on vmware employees heads, like they did with ca and symantec
Worse in every single way for VMW

It will be extremely lucrative for the thieving, incompetent BOD and upper management, too.
And let's not forget that Dell will be able to pay down more debt after he squeezes the turnip one more time, and maybe take Dell Technologies private again.
