Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Tommorrow becomes more bleak with every barrel of oil and whif of gas that ENB moves.

Tomorrow is being stolen from you and your children. Tomorrow will be too hot and too dry for life.

Unless your plan is to sell it all and pivot to a new power source.. its all smoke and mirrors. Good luck. This won't likely go as you'd hope.

The world is overpopulated. Kids are just more turds adding to the problem. Climate change and the mass death it will bring is a necessary evil. Bring it on!

Enbridge was coerced by the local government to pay for policing. They didn't go out an maliciously hire the cops. They were basically handed a bill. Extorted, if you will.

I do remember when Enbridge paid police $2.4 Million to "protect" its pipeline.

Canada is in this position because of how we acted going back to Harper. Canada tried to fly under the radar with our resources, act like nice people, and go on about how Canadian oil is 'ethical'. Turns out no one (not even the enviro nuts) care about any of that. We were too passive and became an easy target. We acted unassertive while the enviro nuts mobilized and made us the bad guy. Trudeau and his merry band of corrupt, unethical m0rons have inflicted generations of damage but this was entirely self-inflicted going back over a decade ago.

Canada needs to stop acting the the worlds boy scout/moral compass and do what is in our best interest, period. Also, I hope Vettel rolls his car this weekend in Montreal.

It's "put up or shut up" time on the world stage. Take CO2 reductions seriously, or double down on consumption. Turns out when the chips are down and the choice must be made, the world collectively chooses to continue the path of fossil fuels. Astronomical energy costs won't help. Nobody cares if it props up dictators.

Out of 100 million barrels per day consumed worldwide, Enbridge ships about 3%.

If Enbridge and the whole Canadian supply vanished tomorrow, the trajectory of the decline would not change AT ALL.

Maybe you shouldn’t be working for an oil and gas company.
