Thread regarding Broadcom Corp. layoffs

Customer satisfaction

At first glance it may not seem like it, however, it is becoming increasingly clear to me that Broadcom actually cares less and less about maintaining customer satisfaction. Am I wrong?

The business does not give a flying fck about customers or the well being of employees. Its a choice to make. FAANGs still paying more than this dump.

Octane will squeeze every last drop of revenue by running skeleton crews and ja--ing up prices. If the products stop making money they sold off for scraps and head count is reduced. The only thing he cares about is the stock price.. which should be over 800 considering how lean the company operates but the market is down everywhere so keep those shares for the long term.

You're wrong. Broadcom will deliver what customers paid for.
If you go to a supermarket buy a can of beans and you pay for a can of beans, that's what you will have in your hands, not more.
The same if you put your money in savings account in your bank. You will only be able to withdraw what was agreed, not more.
Some companies/contacts/employees believe they are entitled to more, even if they haven't 'paid' for it. People who are used to freebies get upset when they only get what they agreed.
Inflaction is there year after year, why should someone give something for free?

As mentioned elsewhere, the shakedown marketing strategy of “pay us 2x or your data center closes” is a very effective playbook on the whales that you can repeat every year - and also explains why everyone in marketing will be gone. The rest of the customers are just static that needs to be eliminated.

No, you're not wrong. They only care about the whales who pay huge subscriptions. They care more about those customers not being able leave then whether they're satisfied.
