I'm tired of having them pile on the workload without hiring any additional support. I'm tired of having to pick up the work of people who left without them backfilling those positions. I'm tired of having to do all that without being properly compensated for my work. Either hire more people or accept the fact that some work won't get done.

I’m liking the CA and the entertainment these days. I’m liking the less production these days even more. Go here and work go there and work sweep the floor and bo-m. Nothing got made ha ha ha free money all day in Schenectady.
HA! Im doing a job that I was being trained to do before my trainer left. Now Im told to keep doing the job even though im not qualified to even do the job. Management has no clue and they prove it daily with things like my situation. I have co workers who love it and say F it, we are not qualified so they cant do anything to us when we F up. No desire to ensure the future, and stand up for whats right. Now dont even tell me that my union officials should be told or do something, they know full well and dont give a rats behind. GE may well be screwed up, but the majority of the hourly workforce is just as screwed up, thats a fact.
Culp is going to lean the company right into bankruptcy.
GE has too many people. The majority are doing useless busy work. Get rid of the d-mb corporate initiatives first.

Great LEAN idea for GE, measure tool times for all maintenance personnel, Say its 4.5 hours a day. Now eliminate them from sourcing/picking parts from the store room room and kitting the parts. High a couple people to do that. Keep Maintenance folks on the tools for 6.75 hours a day (reduce a-s time). If GE has 60 Maintenance folks you could layoff 20 and get the same work done. Hire 2, layoff 20, LEAN in action!
Get use to the workload it’s the new GE! Ha Ha Ha more work less pay!
