Group leads and managers are asked to not move people around or ask for other eligible employees from other teams as a big layoff is coming soon. All other options to save the ship have been exhausted.

Who would expect anything different from this company. They constantly lie and silently fire people.
Who else is there to layoff?
Investors are scared of this company cause its finances have been mismanaged the last few years. Its lost most of its market value in the last 6 months.
How could they not be! The senior management team is to blame. They refused to listen to employees with solid expertise sound advice. Instead, management fired them. Management had, and still has an insane misperception they knew everything, and no one else could ever know more than them. Hysterical! Bet they are feeling pretty darn stupid now! 🤣🤣
