I personally would not advise anyone to apply here now. There are many open positions, but I do not believe that there will be many applicants for those jobs. Perhaps only those who have no other options?

Direction starting last week is promote internally to fill open requisitions and backfill the position of the promoted person with a contractor
It is no brainer whether their offer will be taken by anyone these days
I’ve been interviewing for a role at VMware. Had 3 interviews. Interesting responses from each of them regarding the Broadcom acquisition. My 3rd and last interview was a week ago now. Haven’t heard anything. I’ve wondered if they have frozen the req’s or if there are other applicants to the same role as well. No telling.
The open positions might not be active, which would indicate hiring freeze.
