I agree. Tune up the resumes and go looking. It's in your best interests.
Also might provide some perspective. I'm not saying there aren't equally good jobs out there at similar compensation levels... but they aren't as plentiful as you might assume.
Lots of people are still in their chairs not because they particularly want to be, but because they haven't found that greener grass.
No one gives a bit of care anymore.
Layoff from here is no loss.
