Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Time off requests....

Been with Lowe's for about 3 years. New SM came in a year ago and for some reason all TOR never get looked at. Some sitting for months.... They won't even talk to you about it or reply to an email concerning TOR.

What the he-l do they think? It's like the simplest thing to keep people happy.

You should call the lowes ethics hotline. It sounds like they’re stealing vacation time which gets kicked back into the budget at the end of the year.

If they were even slightly concerned about our "work/life balance" the scheduling wouldn't be so absolutely horrible. It's not that difficult to give people a decent schedule. They just don't want to...

Your time off is the time between your shifts. Please use that time for any trips and such mmkay? You are heroes, please act like one

This seems to be a part of Lowe's sh---y culture. They don't care about you and prove it in every way possible. Approving a time off request is good for morale and ignoring one is despicable, yet ignoring time off requests is the norm at Lowe's. I'll never understand why anyone thinks this is a good idea. It enrages the staff in an already terrible environment.
